[Remote] Client Account Executive - Mining & Metals

Remote · Hong Kong Full-time

They are seeking a Client Account Executive to develop long-term business relationships in the Mining & Metals sector, manage client engagement, and collaborate with internal teams to enhance client satisfaction and drive profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client engagement activities from identification and opportunity creation to multi-solution business capture
  • Keep the Client Relationship Management tool updated and aligned with governance to ensure accurate tracking and management of client relationships
  • Develop Account Strategy and Value Propositions with Account team members for addressing client issues and building long-term, profitable business opportunities
  • Generate and qualify sales and marketing leads
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Marketing and Strategy to proactively improve BV reputation and relevance as an innovative thought leader (thought leadership, industry experience, etc.)
  • Accountable for overall client satisfaction and conducting client satisfaction surveys
  • Full understanding of the deal; including margins, risks, terms & conditions, etc
  • Deep understanding of the industry and the needs of our clients, with strategic planning of new business growth
  • Alongside the Client Segment Director, develop and execute on long-term plans that drive growth & profitability
  • Regular interaction with the Black & Veatch Leadership Team on complex and multi-dimensional Sales matters. Influences the decisions made by the Leadership Team related to Sales direction
  • Industry expertise within the EPC arena
  • Supervises work of others. Responsible for hiring, discipline, and pay administration of their subordinates

Skills

  • Typically 15-20 years of experience within the EPC industry, including 10 years in sales or project execution. Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience required
  • Experience developing, maintaining and executing strategic sales plans
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts concisely and clearly, and to convert technical or complex information and concepts into easily understandable content
  • Firm understanding of competition and differentiators
  • B2B sales experience
  • Experience managing a sales team
  • Mining and Metals experience in the industry
  • Bachelors degree preferred, with technical or business focus. Relevant experience in lieu of degree may be accepted
  • Experience using Salesforce is preferred
