Art of Problem Solving seeks a Remote Contest Math Instructor to teach upper-level math to middle and high school students in a virtual classroom environment. This part-time position focuses on student-led instruction and critical thinking development for competitive math preparation. Key Responsibilities: Teach live online classes through Zoom to small groups (average 12 students) preparing for math contests like AMC, AIME, and MATHCOUNTS. Develop participation-oriented lessons that emphasize problem-solving skills and student discussion rather than rote memorization. Skills & Tools: Strong knowledge of middle and high school mathematics competitions with ability to teach/tutor at those levels. Excellent virtual classroom facilitation, ability to foster engaging discussions, and preference for student-centered instruction approaches. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a STEM field required (Master's preferred).
