[Remote] Director/Senior Director Business Development

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Metric Bio is partnered with a rapidly growing CRO entering an exciting phase of expansion across the United States. They are searching for a commercial leader to drive business growth and establish a stronger market presence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business development strategy and revenue growth across the United States
  • Identify, develop, and close new partnerships with biotech and some Pharma sponsors
  • Build and execute a targeted commercial strategy to expand the organisation's US footprint
  • Develop long-term relationships with key decision-makers across biotech and pharma
  • Partner closely with executive leadership to influence commercial strategy and market expansion
  • Represent the organisation at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings
  • Help establish the foundations of a growing US commercial team, with the opportunity to recruit and lead future Business Development professionals

Skills

  • Proven success in Business Development within the CRO, clinical research (Diagnostics, Central Labs)
  • Demonstrated ability to generate new business and consistently exceed commercial targets
  • Strong network across biotech and pharmaceutical organisations
  • Experience managing end-to-end sales cycles and securing strategic partnerships
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building businesses and creating long-term value
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and excited by the opportunity to grow alongside an expanding organisation
