Position Overview – Remote Data Entry Operator (Entry Level) This part‑time, remote role is designed for individuals who are looking to launch a career in data entry while enjoying the flexibility of a schedule that does not exceed four hours per day. As a Remote Data Entry Operator at careerzynith, you will become an essential guardian of data integrity, ensuring that every piece of information entered into our systems is accurate, secure, and ready for downstream analysis. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input data from a variety of source documents—including spreadsheets, PDFs, scanned images, and handwritten notes—into careerzynith’s proprietary data management platforms.
  • Perform routine verification checks to confirm the completeness and correctness of newly entered records, flagging any inconsistencies for review.
  • Update existing data entries to reflect the most current information, ensuring that all records remain relevant and reliable.
  • Organize, sort, and prioritize incoming documents to streamline the data entry workflow and meet daily processing targets.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to data‑security protocols when handling sensitive client information, complying with industry standards such as GDPR and HIPAA where applicable.
  • Collaborate virtually with team members, supervisors, and quality‑control specialists to resolve data discrepancies and improve overall data quality.
  • Document any process improvements or recurring issues in the internal knowledge base, contributing to continuous‑improvement initiatives.
  • Follow careerzynith’s standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data handling, ensuring consistency across all projects and clients.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. A focus on detail‑oriented coursework (e.g., accounting, computer applications) is a plus.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to navigate Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel, including basic formulas, data sorting, and formatting.
  • Typing Skills: Minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute with a high degree of accuracy (error rate ≤2%).
  • Attention to Detail: Proven track record of meticulous work, with an emphasis on catching and correcting errors before they propagate.
  • Time Management: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet daily or weekly data‑entry quotas without direct supervision.
