Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Oracle is seeking a talented and experienced Lead Functional Consultant to join their team. In this role, you will provide innovative solution leadership, guiding project teams and ensuring solutions meet customer objectives with a focus on Oracle Cloud and accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Provides consistent and innovative solution leadership to a project team
• Owns the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s), ensuring highly performant, coordinated software solutions within time and budget constraints
• Leads and analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry standard processes, product knowledge, and discernment
• Exercises judgment and business insight in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very sophisticated aspects of applications and technology installations
• Self-starter that provides direction and mentoring to project teams and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions
• Supports business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions
• Resolves sophisticated customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions

Skills

• Proven experience relevant to this position including 5 years of functional consulting experience
• Prior team leadership or management experience preferred
• Business process experience in the following areas: Oracle Cloud: 4-5 years of experience in General Ledger, Financial Reporting Studio, Smartview, Subledger Accounting, Accounting Hub Cloud
• 5-10 years/solid overall Record to Report process implementation experience
• Ability to lead enterprise structure and chart of accounts design workshops
• Ability to manage complex data conversion cycles and explain best practices in migrating historical account balances
• Holds a BS in Accounting or a related field OR equivalent experience
• CPA is a plus
• Product or technical expertise relevant to the practice focus
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to build rapport with team members and clients
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills
• Ability to travel up to 30%, when required
