[Remote] National Account Manager, Walmart

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ForceBrands is partnering with an established and growing consumer packaged goods company to identify a Senior National Account Manager to lead the Walmart business. This high-impact role is responsible for developing customer strategy, driving profitable growth, and strengthening executive-level relationships with Walmart.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Walmart business and serve as the primary customer contact
  • Develop and execute annual business plans that drive revenue, profitability, and market share
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Walmart buyers, category managers, and key stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for assortment expansion, promotional programs, and new item launches
  • Analyze sales trends, category performance, and market data to develop actionable growth strategies
  • Lead customer negotiations, pricing discussions, and promotional planning
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, finance, category management, and operations to ensure flawless execution
  • Monitor forecasts, inventory, and business performance while identifying risks and opportunities
  • Deliver regular business reviews and performance updates to senior leadership

Skills

  • 10+ years of sales or national account management experience within the CPG industry
  • Strong understanding of Walmart systems, processes, and customer expectations
  • Proven success growing revenue, expanding distribution, and managing large retail accounts
  • Experience with joint business planning, category management, promotional execution, and customer negotiations
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into business decisions
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Direct experience managing the Walmart business is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
