Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Stratacent is a Global IT consulting and Services firm, headquartered in Jersey City, NJ, USA. They are seeking a highly driven Senior Business Analyst with strong experience in commercial lending operations to support a strategic banking transformation initiative, focusing on loan operations and API integration.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with Loan Operations and Business stakeholders to understand current-state processes and operational pain points
• Lead requirements gathering and documentation for: Loan booking, Loan closing, Renewals and amendments, Operational servicing workflows
• Work closely with technology teams on API integration initiatives involving LoanIQ, AFS, and downstream systems
• Create and maintain: Business requirements documents (BRDs), Functional specifications, Process flows, User stories and acceptance criteria
• Facilitate workshops and drive discussions across operations, business, and technology teams
• Identify process improvement opportunities and help drive operational efficiency
• Support UAT, testing coordination, and production readiness activities
• Act as a bridge between business operations and technical delivery teams

Skills

• 10+ Years of experience
• 8–12+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within Commercial Banking
• Strong hands-on experience with LoanIQ (Syndicated Loans)
• Strong hands-on experience with AFS Vision (Bilateral Loans)
• Deep understanding of Loan booking
• Deep understanding of Loan closing
• Deep understanding of Renewals and servicing operations
• Experience supporting API integration projects within banking environments
• Strong experience working directly with Business Operations teams
• Excellent documentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to proactively drive requirements and delivery discussions
• Experience supporting commercial lending transformation initiatives
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and JIRA
• Exposure to syndicated lending or complex commercial loan products
• Experience working in hybrid business/technology environments
