[Remote] Senior Product Manager - Digital Health

The Senior Product Manager – Digital Health will drive product strategy and development, ensuring successful commercialization of healthcare products such as software platforms and mobile applications, while collaborating across functions to enhance patient care and business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify customer needs and industry trends, with an emphasis on digital health adoption and emerging technologies
  • Monitor global competitive activity, analyzing product performance to assess strengths and weaknesses compared to Inogen's portfolio
  • Engage with healthcare professionals, patients, and other digital health stakeholders to gather deep customer insights and inform value proposition creation (Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test)
  • Work with senior management on the development of the long-term vision and strategy for the digital health portfolio, ensuring offerings that align with the company’s overall vision, strategy, and objectives
  • Oversee the integration of digital technologies, such as cloud-based platforms, mobile apps, and data analytics, to enhance healthcare professionals’ effectiveness, optimize patient engagement and improve clinical outcomes
  • Lead cross-functional teams in agile development cycles for digital health products, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and data privacy standards
  • Function as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Sales and Marketing teams:
  • Research and develop compelling product claims to strengthen market positioning
  • Design and deliver product training for internal teams and external partners
  • Monitor customer feedback to inform product improvement recommendations
  • Represent the VOC in cross-functional initiatives to enhance product performance, user experience, and operational support

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 7-10 years of Product Management experience with digital health solutions, ideally in the respiratory care space
  • Expertise in the medical device industry and digital health technologies (cloud, App and web based) used in solutions such as patient mobile applications, telemedicine, remote patient monitoring, and/or device analytics
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
  • Proven history in launching healthcare and digital health products
  • Navigating regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA and GDPR
  • Managing cross-functional teams in agile environments

  • Customer-centric mindset with strong focus on patient engagement, clinician workflows, and user experience design
  • Market research expertise, leveraging qualitative and quantitative methods to identify unmet needs and emerging trends in digital health
  • An understanding of digital health ecosystems, including interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR), telehealth, remote patient monitoring, and digital therapeutics
  • Technical proficiency in agile and/or stage-gate methodologies, with familiarity in software development processes and digital platforms
  • Experience in healthcare regulatory frameworks (FDA, EU MDR) and compliance with data privacy/security standards (HIPAA, GDPR)
  • Data-driven decision-making skills, including ability to define and analyze KPIs, ROI, and health outcomes metrics
  • Leadership in cross-functional collaboration, working with engineering, clinical, regulatory, and commercial teams
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with ability to translate complex technical and clinical concepts into clear business strategies
  • Ability to support teams and team members within and outside US
  • MBA preferred
  • Familiarity with DME channels and healthcare workflows preferable
