• Managing the financial accounting for a portfolio of properties
• Preparing and reviewing monthly financial statements
• Maintaining general ledgers
• Posting journal entries
• Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• Assisting with budget preparation
• Supporting audits
• Monitoring compliance with regulatory and company accounting policies
• Reconciling accounts
• Analyzing variances
• Collaborating with property management teams
• Providing clear financial insights to support decision-making

Skills

• Strong skills in Accounting and Finance, with the ability to apply GAAP principles to property management operations
• Experience preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and conducting Financial Reporting for multiple properties or business units
• Proficiency in Journal Entries (Accounting) and general ledger maintenance, including reconciliations and variance analysis
• Advanced knowledge of property management or real estate accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or similar certification is a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams and work effectively in an on-site, collaborative environment
• Prior experience in property management, real estate, or affordable housing (LIHTC, HUD, USDA-RD, Bond financing) is preferred
