Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. MEDCO is seeking an experienced Payroll Accounting Specialist for a 100% remote role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing multi-state payroll accurately and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations while supporting the Finance Department.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-state payroll accurately and on time
• Manage payroll activities using UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM)
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Reconcile payroll data and support payroll accounting functions
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies
• Assist with payroll reporting, audits, and year-end processing
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Finance Department on a variety of projects

Skills

• Experience processing payroll for a multi-state workforce
• Hands-on experience with UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM)
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws, taxes, and compliance requirements
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Payroll accounting experience is a plus
