Senior Bookkeeper (Remote | Part-Time) Bullpen Talent is seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to support the financial operations of a growing U.S.-based business. This is a long-term, part-time contractor role requiring approximately 5–10 hours per week. Workload is generally light but increases around mid-month (customer invoicing) and month-end close, so reliability during these periods is essential. Responsibilities

Maintain accurate books in QuickBooks Online Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts Manage accounts payable and vendor payments Prepare and send customer invoices Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices Process payments through Bill.com Record payroll and contractor transactions Review transactions for proper coding and classification Assist with monthly financial close Prepare basic financial reports, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet Investigate discrepancies and resolve accounting issues Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation Work directly with management and external CPA as needed Required Qualifications 5+ years of bookkeeping experience supporting U.S. businesses Advanced QuickBooks Online experience Strong understanding of U.S. bookkeeping principles Experience completing monthly reconciliations independently Experience managing both accounts payable and accounts receivable Excellent attention to detail Strong organizational and communication skills Excellent written and spoken English Reliable computer and high-speed internet Preferred Experience Experience with one or more of the following: Bill.com Deel Gusto Coupa Ramp Microsoft Excel Google Sheets Contractor-heavy businesses Staffing or professional services companies
