Senior Software Engineer: macOS (USA, Remote)

About the Job: DTEX Systems is seeking talented Senior Software Engineer with macOS Development experience; who can design developing Systems software and applications for the macOS platform. You will be a key player on our Engineering Team as we continue to grow and succeed as an organization. Job Responsibilities:

  • DTEX is seeking a talented and skilled Senior Software Engineer focused on developing Systems software and applications for the macOS platform.
  • Design, develop, test, document and maintain software modules running on the macOS platform.
  • Work with other teams to develop new features and integrations between the various software components that comprise the DTEX solution.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related Engineering or Science fields
  • 3+ years of experience in relevant roles
  • Proficient in developing software for the macOS platform
  • Strong understanding of macOS administration
  • In-depth knowledge of macOS platform architecture and internals, such as Darwin, Cocoa SDK, Core Services, and various Apple development libraries and SDKs
  • Proficient in Xcode and programming in Swift, Objective-C and C++
  • Experience developing using the Apple Endpoint Security framework
  • Good knowledge of general OS internals such as kernel mode and user mode, filesystems, networking concepts, process and application management, security and access control
  • Good knowledge of databases, cryptography and troubleshooting in a macOS environment
  • Knowledge of macOS device management applications and concepts
  • Prefer experience in startup environments.
  • A US citizen based in the US
