Position Summary The Supply Chain Operations Coordinator supports the day-to-day execution of supply chain activities, including procurement, inventory management, logistics coordination, supplier communications, and operational reporting. This role works closely within Supply Chain, and in collaboration with Procurement, Logistics, Finance, Warehouse, and Engineering teams to ensure materials and equipment are delivered accurately, on time, and in support of business objectives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accurate data and effective stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

  • Create, implement and support development of procurement related processes that lead to efficiencies, more accurate data collection, reporting and analysis.
  • Create, track, and maintain purchase orders throughout the procurement lifecycle.
  • Monitor open purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate supplier communications regarding order status, shipment schedules, and delivery updates.
  • Assist with supplier onboarding and vendor information management.
  • Support invoice collection for partner teams including Legal and Funding.
  • Identify, create and implement process improvements leading to more accurate and timely compliance reporting.
  • Maintain accurate supply chain data within procurement and inventory management systems.
  • Generate routine reports on inventory, open purchase orders, supplier deliveries, and operational performance.
  • Support data analysis activities to improve supply chain visibility and decision-making.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining dashboards and KPI reporting.
  • Support Funding and Legal with Invoice Management.
  • Partner with Procurement, Engineering, Finance, Deployment, Operations, and Logistics teams to resolve supply chain issues.
  • Support project execution by ensuring material availability and delivery alignment with project schedules.
  • Develop, maintain and communicate supply chain status updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Develop, implement, and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on process efficiency, data accuracy, and operational performance.
  • Assist with audit requests and compliance documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to support operational controls.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.

Desired Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Logistics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, inventory management, or operations support.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and business systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Experience with procurement systems such as Coupa or Ariba.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and logistics processes.
  • Experience supporting field operations, infrastructure deployment, manufacturing, or technology hardware environments.
