LPN (Nurse... ECC Description Introduction Centers Health Care is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in the Emergency Care Center (ECC). As an LPN in the ECC, you will play a crucial role in providing prompt and effective nursing care to patients in emergency situations. Job Summary and Qualifications As an LPN in the ECC, you will be responsible for assisting registered nurses and physicians in providing direct patient care, administering medications, and performing various nursing procedures. You will need to have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to remain calm and focused in high-stress situations. Experience • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an LPN in an acute care or emergency care setting. • Experience in providing emergency care and triaging patients preferred. • Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to prioritize patient needs based on acuity. Education • Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program leading to licensure as an LPN. • Continuing education in emergency nursing or relevant specialty areas is a plus. License and Certifications • Current and unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice. • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications preferred. • Additional certifications relevant to emergency care nursing are a plus.
