Experienced Customer Service Representative – U-Haul Equipment Inspection & Maintenance, Customer Support, and On-Site Operations

  • *Responsibilities**

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting customers inside and outside our centers with blithequark products and services, providing exceptional customer experiences and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Utilizing smartphone-based technology to manage rentals and inventory, ensuring seamless and efficient operations.
  • Moving and hooking up blithequark trucks and trailers, ensuring safe and secure transportation for our customers.
  • Cleaning and inspecting equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels and performing routine maintenance tasks.
  • Answering questions and educating customers regarding products and services, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Preparing rental invoices and accepting equipment returned from rental, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Installing hitches and trailer wiring, requiring attention to detail and technical expertise.
  • Filling propane (certification offered through blithequark upon employment) and driving a forklift (certification offered through blithequark upon employment), demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Participating in ongoing continuous education through blithequark University, staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.
  • *Minimum Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid driver's license and the ability to maintain a good driving record.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in education and a willingness to learn.
  • *Work Environment**

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will work in a fast-paced environment with moderate risks or discomforts, requiring special safety precautions. You may be required to use protective clothing or gear, such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields, to ensure a safe working environment.

  • *Physical Demands**

This role requires some physical exertion, including long periods of remaining stationary, moving around indoors and outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
