Ensure that any health concerns are promptly addressed and reported to the relevant authorities.• Behavioral Enrichment Develop and implement enrichment programs to promote the physical and mental well-being of animals. Create stimulating environments that prevent boredom and stress, and ensure that animals receive the mental and physical stimulation they need to thrive.• Record Keeping Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of animal care, including feeding schedules, health status, and behavioral observations. Ensure that all records comply with relevant regulations and are readily available for inspection.• Client Interaction Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing updates on their pets' well-being and care. Participate in team meetings and training sessions, and contribute to the development of best practices and procedures.RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements• Educational Background A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional certification or training in animal care is preferred, and candidates with relevant qualifications will be given priority consideration.• Experience A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in animal care or a related field is preferred. Candidates with experience working in animal shelters, veterinary clinics, or other animal care settings will be given priority consideration.• Skills Strong observational skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
