Remote Outbound Call Center Representative

Remote Outbound Call Center Member Support Houston, TX Area (Remote Contract Position) | $20.50/Hour | July 20 Start Applicants must be local to the Houston area and available to attend an in-person interview in the Houston area (Date and Location TBD). Candidates must present a current, valid government-issued photo ID at the interview as well as I9 Documentation. The Midtown Group is seeking motivated, professional, and customer-focused individuals for a remote Member Support Representative opportunity supporting a healthcare outreach program that helps members access valuable services and resources. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy helping people, building rapport over the phone, and working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Position Overview Representatives will conduct outbound calls to guide individuals through eligibility and needs-based assessments, and connect qualified participants to available healthcare and support programs. Successful candidates will be comfortable initiating conversations, overcoming objections, building trust, and helping members understand available benefits and services.

Compensation

  • $20.50 per hour
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week

  • Company-issued equipment provided

Training Information (Mandatory) Paid Remote Training is required for all selected candidates. Training Dates: July 20-August 7 (Paid REMOTE training) Training Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM Eastern Time IMPORTANT: Attendance is mandatory for every training day. Candidates who miss any portion of training may be removed from the project and will not be permitted to continue. Work Schedule

  • 9:00 AM ET
  • 10:00 AM ET
  • 11:30 AM ET

Candidates must be available to work any assigned shift.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be local to the Houston, Texas area
  • U.S. Citizenship required due to client/program requirements
  • Previous outbound calling, call center, customer service, enrollment, member support, or similar experience
  • Strong verbal communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to handle objections professionally and confidently
  • Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously
  • Comfortable learning new processes and adapting to changing procedures
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection
  • Quiet, private, and professional workspace free from distractions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Experience supporting healthcare, insurance, benefits, enrollment, or social services programs
  • Experience working in a metrics-driven environment

Technology Requirements Candidates must be comfortable:

  • Working across multiple browser windows and applications simultaneously
  • Using Microsoft Teams, chat platforms, and web-based systems
  • Entering accurate information while actively speaking with members
  • Working from a company-issued laptop
