TJX Companies is a Fortune 100 company and the world’s leading off-price retailer, seeking a Principal Business Strategy Architect to shape the future of their corporate functions. This role involves partnering with senior leaders to define visions and lead technology-enabled modernization across HR, Finance, and Site Solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Corporate domain leaders to understand strategic goals, operating challenges, and transformation imperatives
• Develop and maintain capability maps, maturity models, value streams, and operating model views
• Identify cross-functional dependencies between platforms and enterprise systems
• Translate strategic priorities into informing multi-year transformation roadmaps
• Shape initiative proposals, business cases, and investment recommendations
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture and program leadership to ensure business intent drives technology decisions
• Define transition states connecting strategy to delivery
• Facilitate alignment across HR, Finance, Sustainability, Legal/Compliance, and Site Solutions
• Lead workshops to clarify dependencies and resolve conflicts
• Bridge competing priorities with structured, data-driven facilitation
• Prepare and deliver structured, executive-ready narratives
• Create decision frameworks and recommendations for VP/SVP/C-suite audiences
• Serve as a trusted advisor across people, process, capability, and technology tradeoffs
• Support initiative discovery, prioritization, and portfolio visioning
• Align with teams on KPIs and measurable outcomes
• Translate architecture outcomes into communication tools for stakeholders

Skills

• 8-10+ years of experience in Business Architecture, Enterprise Strategy, Corporate Transformation, or Consulting
• Experience leading Workday HCM, Finance ERP, or Corporate transformation initiatives
• Strong understanding of business architecture concepts
• Ability to translate strategy into actionable plans and technology requirements
• Exceptional communication, analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Experience influencing senior leaders and building consensus
• Familiarity with strategic planning techniques and business case development
• Experience across multiple Corporate domains (HR + Finance; HR + Compliance; Finance + Real Estate)
• Management consulting background at Manager/Senior Manager/Principal level
• Experience with Workday HCM or modern Finance platforms
• Understanding of Corporate governance, compliance, and reporting frameworks
• MBA or Master's degree in a relevant field
