Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Myna Partners is a boutique consulting firm specializing in strategy and privacy technology. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to assist in designing and configuring various privacy, marketing, and GRC technology platforms, while supporting multiple projects to deliver effective compliance programs for clients.

Responsibilities

• Configuring Technology Solutions – Provide the subject matter expertise needed to configure various technology platforms to align with future state design, perform testing, and support go-live activities
• Designing and Developing Custom Privacy Consent Solutions – You will be assisting in the designing and development of web-based consent solutions to maintain compliance for GDPR, CPRA, and other global regulations for clients with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Consent and Cookie Banner Integration – Assist in building innovative and unique solutions to consent management using Google Tag Manager, APIs, and other consent management platforms
• Enterprise System API Configuration – Aiding the team with configuration of REST APIs for enterprise systems like SalesForce Marketing Cloud, Jira, and ServiceNow

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Experience with Google Tag Manager, Adobe Experience Manager, and content management platforms such as WordPress
• Familiarity with REST APIs and system integration
• Strong understanding of the basics of cookies, pixels, tags, and web fundamentals
• Experience managing and navigating Linux server environments
• Experience with debugging and evaluating HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of public cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
• Basic Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL
• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Solid understanding of the fundamentals of development, design philosophies, and internet protocols
• Driven to uncover solutions through research and high levels of technical aptitude for reading documentation
• Hands on experience with HTML, CSS, JSON, XML, and JavaScript
• Able to effectively articulate the technical aspects you're familiar with those in other domains at an understandable level
• Proven ability to quickly learn new business operations, processes, and procedures
• Adaptable, welcomes change, and is comfortable with ambiguities
• Effectively balances competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced environment

• 3+ years of technology related experience
• Experience configuring SaaS solutions
• Expertise with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web focused languages
• Knowledge of web analytic tools and how cookies are used to track user behavior (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel)
• Understanding of GDPR, CPRA, and other privacy regulations
• Comfortable and confident in Linux command line and developer consoles
• Able to tailor and describe technical aspects to those in other stakeholder groups
• Knowledge of API integrations
