[Remote] Sr Lead-System Administration
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Mphasis is seeking an experienced HOPEX v6 Admin with deep expertise in Global Enterprise Architecture Repository (GEAR). The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering the HOPEX platform to support enterprise architecture practices, governance, and repository management.
Responsibilities
- Manage and administer the HOPEX v6 platform, ensuring availability, performance, and security
- Configure and maintain user roles, access controls, and permissions
- Perform system upgrades, patching, backup, and recovery operations
- Monitor application health and troubleshoot system-level issues
- Manage platform availability, performance, configuration, environment stability, and operational readiness
- Support production deployments, release activities, configuration changes, patches, upgrades, and platform enhancements
- Monitor application health, system logs, scheduled jobs, integrations, services, and batch processes
- Support platform upgrades, hotfixes, service packs, and vendor-recommended patches
- Coordinate remediation of vulnerabilities related to operating systems, middleware, databases, web servers, libraries, certificates, AWS infrastructure, and MEGA HOPEX platform components
- Manage and support AWS infrastructure components used by enterprise platforms and MEGA HOPEX environments
- Support AWS services such as: EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Load Balancers, Security Groups, Route 53, Backup and recovery services
- Monitor AWS resources for availability, capacity, performance, cost, and security compliance
- Support infrastructure provisioning, environment refreshes, backup validation, disaster recovery readiness, and operational resilience
- Partner with cloud engineering teams to implement AWS best practices for security, scalability, monitoring, and reliability
- Work closely with: Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, IT Governance teams, Business stakeholders
- Provide training, documentation, and user support
Skills
- 10+ years (relevant experience in HOPEX Enterprise Architecture tools)
- Experience in managing and administering the HOPEX v6 platform
- Ability to ensure availability, performance, and security of the HOPEX platform
- Experience in configuring and maintaining user roles, access controls, and permissions
- Experience in performing system upgrades, patching, backup, and recovery operations
- Ability to monitor application health and troubleshoot system-level issues
- Experience in managing platform availability, performance, configuration, environment stability, and operational readiness
- Experience in supporting production deployments, release activities, configuration changes, patches, upgrades, and platform enhancements
