The Consultant Architect role focuses on managing and implementing complex application suites within the Epic environment, overseeing technical issues, and guiding teams of architects and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Focuses on Epic environment management and upgrades
• Effective resolution of technical issues with Epic delivery
• Assists with Epic technical tasks such as interfaces, batch jobs, change management, and other Epic-focused tasks
• Oversee and guide the implementation and support of multifaceted application portfolios
• Guide and support teams of other senior architects, systems consultants and systems analysts
• Serve as a learned counsel and advisor to IS leadership in matters of system design and architecture
• Lead a team of architects
• Develop solutions that best align Children's business requirements with the functionality and constraints of off-the-shelf software and related technology solutions

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Business or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of seven (7) years experience and working knowledge of software development and implementation life cycle processes in an enterprise IT environment, to include: 3-5 years experience and knowledge of project management practices, including project planning and risk/issue management
• Experience in application integration technologies
• Epic certified in modules supported or receive certification within 6 months from employment
