Job Summary: As a Utilization Management RN, you look to maximize the quality and cost-efficiency of health care services at ProMedica. You will complete reviews for admissions and transfers and apply payer rules to obtain authorizations. You will work with physicians, nurses, and other members of the health care team to effectively allocate resources to ensure appropriate care. REQUIREMENTS Education: Graduate of approved NLN accredited School of Nursing Years of Experience: Minimum of 3 years acute care nursing experience License: Current RN licensed in the state of hire PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor’s degree Skills: Knowledge of insurance guidelines and federal, state, and local regulations. Experience with UR/UM in hospital acute care setting.
