• Medication Preparation Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications, including counting, labeling, and packaging. Â
• Customer Service Provide exceptional service to patients by addressing their inquiries, processing prescription orders, and offering medication counseling under the supervision of a pharmacist. Â
• Order Processing Review and process prescription orders, including verifying medication information and ensuring the proper dosage and instructions. Â
• Inventory Management Monitor and manage medication inventory levels, place orders for stock replenishment, and ensure proper storage of medications. Â
• Regulatory Compliance Adhere to all federal and state pharmacy regulations, including maintaining accurate records and handling controlled substances in accordance with legal requirements. Â
• Technical Support Assist in the resolution of technical issues related to pharmacy software and equipment. Â
• Documentation Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medication logs. Â Required Skills and Qualifications Â
• Certification Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification or equivalent state certification. Â
• Technical Skills Proficiency with pharmacy software and Microsoft Office Suite. Â
• Communication Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals. Â
• Attention to Detail High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks and documentation. Â
• Customer Service Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and handle sensitive information with discretion. Â Experience Â
• Experience Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in a retail or clinical setting. Â
• Experience with Remote Work Previous experience working remotely is preferred but not required. Â Working Hours Â
• Schedule Full-time, with flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings, as needed. Â Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Â
• Pharmacy Knowledge Strong understanding of pharmaceutical terminology, drug interactions, and dosage calculations. Â
• Organizational Skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Â
