[Remote] Cohesity Consultant - Travel role - Secret clearance

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. PGTEK is seeking an experienced Cohesity Consultant with an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance to implement, configure, and support enterprise data protection solutions for government customers. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cohesity DataProtect and enterprise backup and recovery solutions, supporting complex infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, configure, and optimize Cohesity backup and recovery solutions
  • Perform installation, upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, and health checks for Cohesity clusters
  • Configure backup policies, replication, archival, disaster recovery, and Instant Mass Restore capabilities
  • Integrate Cohesity solutions with:
  • VMware vSphere
  • Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Windows Server
  • Linux environments
  • Perform backup validation and recovery testing
  • Troubleshoot backup failures, performance issues, and storage utilization challenges
  • Implement ransomware protection strategies and immutable backup best practices
  • Support Backup and Recovery Appliance (BURA) environments and enterprise storage platforms
  • Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures
  • Collaborate with system administrators, cybersecurity teams, project managers, and government stakeholders
  • Provide knowledge transfer and customer training

Skills

  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • 3+ years of enterprise backup, storage, or infrastructure experience
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience implementing and administering Cohesity solutions
  • Experience supporting VMware vSphere
  • Experience supporting Windows Server
  • Experience supporting Linux
  • Experience supporting Active Directory
  • Experience supporting SAN/NAS storage environments
  • Experience supporting Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Cohesity Certified Professional (CCP) certification
  • Experience with Cohesity DataProtect
  • Experience with Cohesity Helios
  • Experience with HPE storage platforms, including Alletra, Primera, Nimble, and 3PAR
  • Experience with Backup and Recovery Appliance (BURA) environments
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD), federal civilian agencies, or intelligence community environments
  • Familiarity with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
  • Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Familiarity with NIST 800-53 security controls
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture
